Our Fundraising Projects

Every Donation Counts !

Which fundraising projects do we have?

We have recurring requests, such as:

  • School fees (3 times a year)
  • School materials (books and pens)
  • Food
  • Clothing
  • Hygiene items

or individual large goals, some we already achieved:

  •  We were able to build a well
  •  We were able to connect the house/plot to electricity grid
  •  School uniforms could be bought/sewn
  •  Broken large cooking pots could be replaced
  • Juggling material: balls, clubs, rings

But we need to go further ... more is needed.

Food is again and again inadequate in terms of quantity and quality.

The kids sleep on thin palm mats on bare floor, close together.

4 of 15 children sleep on their only mattress. Blankets have to be shared.

More Fundraising Projects

Chicken breeding

Und das kostet viel, ist aber eine lohnende Investion.

Proteins are necessary for healthy development.

Chickens are easy to keep...

But first a safe stable is necessary

The only suitable hut has just collapsed

due to the heavy rain in the rainy season.

First stable, then livestock...

And that's big expense, but it is a worthwhile investment.

2 Bicycles

We did it!! Thanks to all donors!!

Our kids have different distances to school.

Some barely have to walk 100m, others have to walk much further.

To make the arduous journey easier for these 2, we would like to buy 2 bicycles.

Outside of school hours, bicycles can be used by others.

One bicycle costs around 500,000 UGX, or about 125€.

Goat keeping and
Goat breeding

A stable is also useful for goats.

Goats provide milk and meat... and they are easy to breed.

Here we kill two birds with one stone.

A stable building for poultry and goats.

Plates, bowls, spoons, forks, cups for 60 children

Once we were able to buy 15 plates.

But each of the 60 children should have their own plate.

And their own spoon... their own fork... their own cup or bowl.

Mattresses

The kids are sleeping on thin palm mats.

There is only one mattress for 15 children.

And 4 children sleep on this mattress.

Blankets

15 children sleeping like sardines in a room and sharing 2 blankets.

Pillows... what are they?

They don't have pillows either.

 Beds - what a dream

Real beds.... With mattresses, of course.

And so that each child has more space, the beds should be stackable.

An almost unthinkable dream for the kids.

We want to alleviate suffering and give the weakest a chance.

And we’re never running out of ideas for improvements.

One step after the other.

Even big goals and visions have to be started step by step and small.
